Saxophone / Soprano Saxophone

Micheal Buckley has been named by The Irish Times as “the best jazz saxophonist in Ireland”. It’s a big title to live up to, but once you hear Michael playing, we think you’ll agree.

Michael has been playing saxophone since he was 6 years old – you gotta start ‘em young, right? And it seems all of his hard work has certainly paid off.

Michael’s passion and talent for the instrument has brought him around the world. He’s had the pleasure of playing with The World Jazz Orchestra, The Edinburgh Jazz Festival Orchestra and has collaborated on recordings with legendary Irish acts like The Cranberries and Glen Hansard.

So whether you’re after a Blues Brothers set or you’d like to keep it strictly jazz, Micheal will add a touch of class and sass to proceedings.
